Your Hosts

Reed Seal-Foss and Collin Cusce met in second and third grade (respectively) in Hampton, VA and have both tracked to become computer scientists from George Mason University. Since then, they've found individual career paths which converge around the topic of AI, ML, and Computer Vision.

Reed Seal-Foss

Reed Seal-Foss is a seasoned software engineer who began his career by enlisting in the U.S. Army after 9/11, deploying to Iraq and managing battlefield computer networks. After his service, he ventured into the realms of 3D graphics and animation, producing Emmy-nominated work for PBS in Second Life. His deep involvement in virtual reality development led him to transition to the engineering side of application development. Reed graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's in Computer Science, graduating cum laude. He now works for a large multinational corporation, where he focuses on prototyping spatial computing, image processing, computer vision, and AI/ML software. Reed consistently demonstrates a passion for learning and technical mastery.

Collin Cusce

Collin started engineering in 1999. Since then, he's been a founding team member for a startup which eradicated fraud on Premium SMS messages, wrote ML to detect spam messages en masse, systems for detecting malvertisement in web pages, and started a companying after inventing a computer vision technique for detecting duplicate videos using a novel video fingerprinting technique in 2012. He got into the cryptocurrency space in 2015 after he worked directly with Ethereum co-founders on the early client, and soon was consulting Fortune 50 companies on the advantages and disadvantages of decentralization. He was recruited by a team from Cornell University to become a founding team member on Avalanche, where he became a subject matter expert on byzantine tolerant consensus protocols. After taking some time off, Collin is re-entering the ML and AI space.
